Introduction

With the “Crema de Leche Nestlé” brand I was given the oportunity to propose a brand validation, centered on redefining the user experience for the webpage. The goal was to seamlessly blend daily cooking elements with creativity and movement, highlighting the ease of creating special recipes.

My approach began with meticulous planning, defining user journeys and a vision that blended daily cooking elements with creativity and movement. The proposal aimed at guiding users seamlessly through the versatility of the product by presenting recipes with a unique animated doodle taking the user to the dish creation steps so they feel good using the interface as they cook.

Proposal & Process

The proposal focused on emphasizing the ease of creating special recipes with “Crema de Leche Nestlé”. This was achieved through a visually appealing design that featured common ingredients next to final dishes, providing a convenient way to explore full recipes through modals. The animated doodle served as a guide, offering an interactive scrolling experience showcasing the dish preparation.

The design process involved prototyping and the creation of initial screens to visualize the proposed direction. Overcoming brand usage restrictions was a significant challenge addressed through early deliveries and iterative feedback loops.

The Delivery

The project culminated in a high-end prototype delivered to Nestlé executives in Colombia. Despite positive feedback, the client decided not to proceed with the presented direction. The prototype showcased a dynamic and interactive experience, educating users about future functionalities while attracting new users seeking innovative utilities.

 

The interactive scrolling experience and modals showcased the potential of dynamic pages, aiming to familiarize users with a more engaging platform. The design aimed to educate visitors about the brand’s capabilities while catering to those seeking modern and interactive solutions.

The Result

Although the client opted for a more traditional approach, the project made a notable impact in presenting the product in a dynamic and interactive light. The transparent explanation in the presentation about the educational intent behind the proposed direction contributed to a constructive dialogue about the brand’s future.

In conclusion, “Crema de Leche Nestlé” project was a creative exploration of presenting a traditional product in a modern light.
